Our move was local and we had a gap of two months before we could close on the new house. This was perfect, we loaded two large containers had them stored for two months. We had one container delivered, emptied that and then the other delivered a few days later. We hired local helpers to move all the large pieces. It worked out perfectly. We would highly recommend using PODS.
PODS made our moving so much easier! We were buying our first home and there was approximately 3 weeks between moving out of our townhouse we were renting, and closing on our home. We could have rented a storage unit, but then would have had to rent a moving truck, load the truck, then unload it into the storage unit. Then would have had to rent another truck, load it from the storage unit, and then unload it at the new place! With PODS, they delivered the unit right in front of our townhouse, then picked it up and delivered it to our new home where we arranged to have it sit in the driveway until we moved in. When we finally closed on the house, our stuff was already in the driveway! Then a simply phone call and they came and picked up the unit. PODS saved us a lot of hassle and the cost was about the same as it would have been if we rented a unit and a moving truck twice! Will definitely be recommending PODS and using them again for our next move! THANKS!
professional service, all appointments for pick ups & deliveries done just so. Making everything easier for us. only complaint is I wish I would have come up with this service.
The corporate office and drivers were amazing, coureous and beyond helpful. Best to deal with them directly though than their "salesman". Once the transaction was done, he could care less. Would be a 5-star if not for him. Deal directly with corporate when ordering.
